Glad I used this company, especially since my son's car was inoperable. The key was unable to turn (steering wheel locked). So I needed that resolved; along with a full diagnostic check up. My appt. was for the next day, yet Noel had called today to let me know that he had a cancellation & finished another repair if I was available he would be able to stop by in the evening (the same day of my call - luckily I didn't have to wait til tomorrow). Their system let's you know when the mechanic is on their way n will arrive. He also called me so I can describe exactly what I needed/problem. Gee, I wished I had stumble across "Your Mechanic" website so that I could have had them checked this car prior to buying it a month ago. My son has a 2003 Honda Pilot, unfortunately it is giving us problems and I could have avoided this if I had the car inspected prior to buying. Although, Noel was unable to turn on car (we only have one key and it is slightly bent; he was able to open the steering column area and suggested I take to locksmith or confirm with Honda dealer if recall still applies (if dealer recall applies- it would be for free). He even tried calling nearby Honda dealer for me - but their service dept was already closed. The cylinder needs to be opened and reset (it would be best to have a locksmith or Honda dealer handle). Mechanic suggested a locksmith that assists with this problem and is able to reset key code (in Hammond, IN). Aside, from that he quickly inspected the car provided me with additional recommendations that would be beneficial for the cars upkeep. He couldn't run a full diagnostic since car didn't turn on. He took pictures of car and I received my work quote on-line via email. This was very convenient (especially knowing that it can be done at home allowing me to complete my daily routines). I am glad they offer this service. I will definitely use again either at home or work.
