What is the Suspension Air Bag all about?

Suspension air bags are designed to keep your vehicle from swaying, sagging or otherwise delivering a rough ride when you have it loaded. By adding extra support to your current suspension, your truck or SUV should give you a much smoother ride, even with additional weight. Some upscale SUV\u2019s have factory-installed suspension air bags that automatically level the load and ride height. They are controlled by suspension height sensors that provide information to the body control module, which directs the proper air pressure from a compressor to the air bag. If there is a leak in an air bag, or if your air bag pressure will not adjust, it may need to be replaced.
