Q: Windshield wipers not working

Hello. The first thing to check with any electrical device is to check the fuse. If the fuse is blown, replace it and try the wipers again. If the wipers work, then you are set to go. If it blows the fuse, some electrical testing will be in order. If the fuse is good when you actuate the switch, listen carefully to see if you can hear the relay engage. You may not hear it if it is under the hood. The last step is to check and see if power and ground are present in the wiper motor. You may need the aid of a mechanic to perform an electrical test, since the cowl may have to be removed for access. They will be able todiagnose why your window wipers are not working.
