Hi, We're in California. My wife has a 2014 Nissan Juke, ~30,000 miles. it was driving a little funny, and decided to take it to the dealer. On the way there the "service soon" light came on.
The whole darn engine needs to be replaced.
What is your professional opinion?
Thanks, Bob
My car has 30000 miles.
If you are saying the oil was never changed in 30k miles, then this would be the reason for the failure. A turbo engine needs正常机油变化about every 3k to 5k miles. The turbo gets extremely hot and will cause the oil to break down sooner than engines without a turbo.
Unfortunately, it does sound like the whole engine assembly needs to be replaced. If you did all the oil changes and it blew up, then it would be covered. But since the oil was not changed, they do not have to repair it under warranty. You can try and see if there is aused motor从残骸的Juke中提供任何地方,然后购买并将其放入您的位置。
