There are those who can perform the required task, but if there is any deviation from how they've done it the last 100 times, they're practically useless. Like someone who's been trained to change the oil and/or tires. As long as you need one of those tasks done with no hiccups, they're perfectly capable. However, if they find an oil leak, you're better off with a monkey trying to fix it. They are the majority. However, in most professions there is a minority who have a solid conceptual understanding of their job. They are the true problem solvers. They are the individuals who, regardless of the task, will find a way to complete it. They have that rare mix of intelligence, knowledge, experience, passion and tenacity. Albert is definitely in the minority. He showed up on time, which these days is a rarity in itself. He was prepared for the job - also not altogether common anymore. Above all, he completed the job professionally and efficiently; and he did so within the quoted price. That's practically unheard of anymore. In addition, when it came time to do the inspection, he was thorough and offered sound advice that was geared towards the best interest of his customer - me. Considering the predatory nature of the industry, it was refreshing. I will absolutely utilize this resource again for any future repairs.
